"The future is a place where all creatures are respected and the colective body builds new paths."

"A future is just when a territory is sovereign"

"In a fair future, children are heard, welcomed, and participants, and women can walk without fear."

Dream Manifesto by participants of the workshop in the municipality of Belém, Pará

Gathering held at Gheto Hub, in the Jurunas neighborhood, in Belém-PA, on June 2, 2025

A fair future is born from the understanding of the history and memory that workers create today with dignity. A fair future is a place where all creatures—human and non-human—are respected, where the community builds new paths. It is when the being is sovereign, with equal rights, influence, and possibilities to exist, regardless of phenotypes, geography, faith, or money. A fair future means accountability. It is taking care of the repercussions of our actions on others, on the land, on water, on time. It is freedom for the true self not to be silenced by prejudices or violence. A fair future is synergy. Nothing can flourish in isolation. Things need to happen together—the simultaneous is the revolution. Work, rest, care, art, affection, politics, joy: all of this needs to pulse at the same time, in the same collective body. A fair future occurs when territories become sovereign in identity and collective management, respecting the specificities of living beings and landscapes that reside there. It is when the waters flow freely again, the seeds return to the earth, and bodies have places to live. A fair future is body and housing. A dignified home for artists, women, black people, so that childhood can be cared for, so that children can grow up safe, so that black youth and black women can grow old. A fair future is visible love. Where women can love each other in public without fear. Where the city is livable, with drinking water, with laughter, with music, with dance. Because without dance, there is no revolution. A fair future is youth alive. It is leisure as a tool of revolution. It is peripheral culture celebrated and the right to exist, dream, and rest without life demanding the price of survival too early. A fair future is memory and continuity. It is recognizing that nothing begins with us. It comes from a trajectory, from mothers and grandmothers, from the hands that planted before we had a voice. We are already ancestors of someone. What came before echoes forward. A fair future is synergy in the now. It is not a distant tomorrow. It is the invitation to change narratives that prevent us from resting today and to start creating safe spaces, cultivating what nourishes us, taking care of those who take care of us. The fair future is not an individual dream. It is the collective in movement, it is the sovereign being in the whole, and not at the top. It is the complete happiness of the periphery, a safe childhood, a free water, and freedom. The fair future is now. And it starts with all of us.
