Dream Manifesto by participants of the workshop in the municipality of Fortaleza, Ceará

Gathering held at the Mental Health Project Center, in the Bom Jardim neighborhood, in Fortaleza-CE, on May 10, 2025.

We dream of a future where we can contemplate and rescue the essence of a past, even in the midst of a globalized world. A time when the rights to equality are respected, where each person's role is built from the perspective of respecting diversities — religious, racial, gender — and the preservation of all species. A future where all people have dignified housing. A future where we have hope, self-criticism, preserved nature, learning, coexistence, abundant fruits and food, peace, equality, fraternity, and respect for differences. We dream of a world where every human being, by existing, can live in this common house called planet consciously, leaving their legacy for future generations — a legacy of respect, love, justice, and care for life in all its forms. A future where we can include people in need of mental health care, women from around the world who are still unseen and unheard, from all faiths, both religious and non-religious. With coexistence and awareness of caring that encompass not polluting, not poisoning, and not killing so that we can live other possibilities where all beings can live their fullness with dignified conditions for housing, eating, and maintaining life and well-being. This fair future guarantees healthy food, a dignified world to live in, a territory with security and peace, fair wages. We will get there through agroecology, community work, united hands, with the unity of all, and concrete actions rather than just on paper. With our essence in fullness.
